Calculation Air & Sea
Modes of international transport:
1. Sea transport: suitable for big volume cargo which does not require quick transit time with a minimum charges of 1 CBM (Width x Length x Height). It is also divided into FCL (Full Container Load) and LCL (Less than container load) depend on demanded volume for transport
Cost calculation as follow:
CBM = Width x Length x Height (cms) / 1,000,000
2. Air transport: suitable for small volume cargo or require shorter transit time, the cost is mainly based on weight of the shipment
Cost calculation as follow:
Chargeable weight = actual gross weight Vs Volume or dimension weight (Whichever greater)
Volume or dimension weight = width x length x height (cms) / 5,000
Cost is based on chargeable weight for each required destination
3. Rail or truck transport: suitable for neighbouring countries which shares Thailand’s border like Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam etc.
Service include whole truck chartered, lcl (number of carton or weight of shipment)
